I salute the man who wrote this. He is so correct.
why cant people realize this?Any other nation that embraces what the U.S did would probably nuke all of Afghanistan into glass after the towers fell.Instead the U.S went in to uphold democracy and is still trying to rebuild a broken nation (fix everything that the commies screwed up at)

Of course I'm going to be somewhat biased since I am an American, but America is probably one of the greatest nation in the history of the world, not perfect, mind you, but still great.
My parents were both immigrants who came to America.
One came from a third world country where very few could get an education. A country where for most people, you stayed in the economic plane you where born in.
The other came from a European country with a stagnate economy, massive government, and high taxes (that pretty much describes all of Europe).
I'm not really big into posting personal info on the web so I'm keeping myself to pretty general statements :^).
The reason my parent came to the US was because no where else was there so much economic opportunity, such freedom from government oppression, such safety. Both of them were succesful in the land of opportunity.
As the child of immigrants, I just want to reaffirm what most of you probably already know. Unless you are rich, life anywhere else in the world stinks compared to life in the U.S.A.
