For all the old skool modders that have stuck by Mod DB from v1 to v4. A lot has changed as over the years as the site moved from a dark v1 to a bright and rounded v2, to the classic v3 and now the all mighty v4! To join this group you must have joined the Mod DB in 2002 or be a KNOWN long time hardcore user!

Yeah, the banner rotation was awesome. I see no proper place for it on the v4 design though

v1 had a charm of its own, no questions asked. Especially the banner I liked the most. Not intrusive but still dynamic.

I love the alerts, "7mW"? 7 milli-watts of alertness?

Even though it was all grey, it was still a breakthrough in community design, still is actually. I've never found another community so organized and integrated as this.

Description

The Mod DB continues the tradition that is making modification oriented webpages, and some may think it picks up where ModRealm left off however I can assure you this is far from the truth. The focus of the modDB is on the community, and hopefully building up a hub of users all interested in modifications who shall consequently partake in discussions, and other fun activities. So comon now, cease reading all this junk from me and go share your thoughts across this page, add your mods and one day the modDB will hit its goal that is a comprehensive searchable listing of every modification for every game ever created!
