Description

Whilst my Clan [BOX] website has absolutely nothing to do with the Realms or modDB I thought I would include it in this walk down memory lane, as this site marked a great changing point in-terms of how I went about creating my websites. Prior to the creation of this website, I had always been design / GFX oriented and had never really coded my own scripts. I could program, however I had never tackled a web based language such as PHP, Perl or ASP. I decided this would change, so I let my mate snaZZy design this site, which looks uber 31337 to say the least, with my role as the programmer. Hence, I decided to learn PHP and over December 2001 I studied my little butt off by reading 2, yes 2 600 page PHP books. Before long I was able to make my own news scripts, member profiles and other uber little features... This has since led to the creation of modDB, with its hundreds of features powered by my 100% custom made scripts which all in all have well over 10,000 lines of code!
