The title explains it all but this group is a fan group for the Video Games Mass Effect 1 (ME1), Mass Effect 2 (ME2), and Mass Effect 3 (ME3). This is the place to post images, videos and news about the Mass Effect Universe, comics and games.
Would make sense. They doubled the power in the SR-2, and doubled the size. With the "fan" SR-3 they could have refined the design making it smaller and more producible. And let me tell you, as a active duty marine, the military loves nothing more than mass production and lowest possible price.
Well, since you are definitely the bigger expert than I am, and thinking about your arguments, I suppose that you are right. Though mass producing sensor stealth frigates would definitely be hard, given the resources needed for making one. The tradeoff, though, is definitely worth the cost: A navy of sensor stealth frigates. Am I the only one that fears the idea?
I am in no means an expert. Was just offering a counter argument. And I agree it would be expensive and it probably wouldn't be the main frigate. This link is to the U.S. Navies stealth destroyer in case you are interested. En.wikipedia.org
Hi, i did that image, and the models (modify the original ME models). I did the SR3 concept more little that the SR2, based in the ideas that say DarkAssaullt, but in this too: the SR2 is a ship that was created by Cerberus, and have many places of confort (that just occupy space). The alliance, not need that, for that, could adapt all SR2 technology in a little ship, more functional, maneuverable, less visible and that have again the landing capability.
Wait, SR-2 is BIGGER than SR-3?! Errrrrrr... riiiiiiiiiiight.
