you forget....Shepard is the modern equivalent of a Darth Vader/Chuck Norris, and he is now filled with rage for Bioware, you can't stop someone like that with this little hurdle.
xD Yeah pretty much, you can't kill someone with awesomeness of that magnitude!
It takes an "artist" to kill a hero.
