this is a group, (like the tank and aircraft lovers) is dedicated to the IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) like the BMP-2 the M2A2 bradly and so on and so forth, from made up to real life, and anything in between. from treads to wheels to hover, this is for all you people who enjoy those rumbling rolling armored vehicles, that when on the target drop their ramps to emit a large group of infantry. yea, and it ***** up it's maneuvering capabilities (and if there's mud... well, I will just stop there...)

I guess it's worth it seeing how effective it really is though (there was a Stryker, I think it took 13 RPG hits in different places and the Slat armor stopped a lot of the damage, letting the crew escape with only minor injuries)

13, or this slat armor is really good, or the militants that were firing the RPGs were really bad in handelling AT weapons, or those RPGs were a ****

im pretty sure the militants' ability to handle RPGs doesn't effect how the rocket performs when it actually detonates on the vehicle. That being said, yes slat armor wirks that well. It causes the grnade to detonate prematurley, and therefor, lose most of the kinetic/penetrating energy.
