this is a group, (like the tank and aircraft lovers) is dedicated to the IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) like the BMP-2 the M2A2 bradly and so on and so forth, from made up to real life, and anything in between. from treads to wheels to hover, this is for all you people who enjoy those rumbling rolling armored vehicles, that when on the target drop their ramps to emit a large group of infantry. is its control characteristics (top heaviness, wheel base width etc) as bad as the LAV 4that new zealand uses? that piece of **** rolls on a properly cambered road at 80kmh
From what I've heard the 25 is ok, but the stryker based on the same wheel base is crap. Can't climb hills properly, easily brakes, no protection, and the mgs is completely ****** because the suspension is not made to handle such weight and force from the stupidly oversized gun.
Due to the widespread use of single warhead HEAT munitions in today's battlefields, the Strykers have slat armor attached (that cage that surrounds the vehicle) as a desperate last resort. The sad part is that it makes every problem you mentioned even worse
