This is a group for all ID Tech 4 engine modders. Whether your modding forte is Prey, Doom 3, Quake 4 or all of them, we welcome you. Also, we will accept you no matter your modding skill. Even if changing the clip-size of your weapons seems difficult, then feel free to join up and we'll try and help you with it as best we can. This is a place for ID Tech 4 modders to hang out, chat, help each other out or post their latest work, even if its a very rough alpha they only want fellow modders experimenting with. We may accept people with no mods out if they are willing to learn, or have a WIP. Happy modding, Adam

I know this group has some members joining that are new to modding with Id tech 4 (I know I'm one of them). So I figured I'd post links to tutorials and or sites that I am finding useful in my Level Design Endeavors. Feel free to post anything you've found useful or comments or questions you may have.

Doom3 World Tutorial List
- Actually this here is a VERY extensive list of tutorials, covering Guis, Scripting, Modelling, Texturing, Cinematics, and Level Design that has been a great help. Although some links are dead so its a pain trying to weed through to the good links...

Some good spefic ones that I've used are:
Brian Trepanings Level Editing Videos - Good set of video tutorials and a way to learn the basics.
Text versions of MNeMiC's videos - The actual video tutorials really didn't seem to be worth the bandwidth compared to just reading the text.
Creating Stairs - Very basic, but it answered my question of how I could go about building stairs

I'm still learning the basics, but as I go through more of the tutorials I'll update this post with the ones I think are quality and good to know. These tutorials are based on Doom 3, but they should easily apply to any other Id tech 4 game.
