Now finally gift tickets arrived! Many people say they do not want to participate in a competition because they have the game from before and want other people to have a greater chance of winning the game itself. As many have been told before "When you're in a competition and you win a game that you have from before, the game must be send with a exchange offer on Steam that you can give to another person if you want too. If it is a friend or family member, it's totally up to you."
By not participate in contest because you have the game will be very dumb to do now, because all competition you join from today, you will receive something called "Bonus Points" that will give you a greater chance in December to get a game on your Steam wishlist.
You read correctly! December are going to be incredible this year, now one of the people will be picked out in December. 1 time a week in that month, so total of 4 times. The host him self will picked out a member from the K-J group who will receive a game that's on your wish list on Steam.
If I have you as a friend on Steam and you are a member of the K-J group, so is it a bigger possibility that I go into your Steam wish list in December and give you a game from that list. I do this to give more christmas joy this year, the more competitions you're joined the greater chance that I choose you!
This kinda sucks, it just lowers the chance to win the game for people like me who are poor or simply don't have the game. I understand you are trying to get more people into the competitions, but this is a bad move in my opinion. The wishlist part is great tho...
"lowers the chance to win the game" I do not quite understand. Do you think it will be harder for you to win, because of this?
Well, more people participating = less chance for each individual. That isn't inherently a bad thing, but it is unfortunate for each individual.
More the better, but yes I understand. But I think that there is very little people who are in the competition than people who are just there to watch.
I would feel like an arsehole for attempting to win a game that I have no interest in. Even if I were an actual arsehole, either I have no one to send it to, or my friends just don't give a damn. So, it seems reasonable for me personally to let people who are presumably not arseholes a chance.
I think it is an unpopular opinion by now but i really like the system, it makes competitions more worthwhile for like me without much time
I like this system
