Nargon civilization exists as much as 30,000 years. The first colonists set foot on the planet Nargon (the Nabonid star system) during the time of the ancient Hyperborea (35000-20000 BC). Then they were isolated, and after some time they managed to create their own culture. Nargonians survived many millenniums and witnessed considerable events in the galaxy. But in the entire history of their planet, they never managed to evolve into a semblance of a galactic state. At the time of Hyperborea, their level of development hardly exceeded the New Time by earthly standards (16-17 century). This is especially evident from the descriptions of the events of the times of Nikolai Krasic and Bartholomew (see "Twilight Sunrise"). True, then everything moved precisely towards progress, and to what was great.
After 3000 years after the death of Nicholas III (aka N.Krašić, the king of Moscan), a completely adequate industrial culture has already appeared on Nargon. People started talking about going into space and colonizing other worlds. However, all the time they fell some kind of attack. The Nargon civilization was on the verge of death, then rose again and flourished. But it cost them only to rise to the creation of spacecraft - some evil forces constantly blocked their progress and again plunged the planet into the late Middle Ages. What was on Nargon from the period from the death of the last king from the dynasty of Krasic to the epoch of 8000 BC is almost hidden from the eyes of mortals. Only small sources of information speak about events of the past years.
Many informative documents are chaotic and almost unrelated, it is difficult for historians to study them. But one event that happened 7500 years BC is still passed down from generation to generation and has already turned into a real myth. It would have been thought by historians that this is a legend if there were no proof.
Over 7500 years BC, Nargon, whose civilization was close to a new era of progress, was attacked by a strange race of machines, called Amurru. Intelligent robots crushed the defensive systems of Nargon and invaded the planet itself. They destroyed all the cities of the people, and the population turned into slaves, intending to have a good time fun. For more than 500 years, mankind was enslaved by rational machines, but then an uprising occurred, which overthrew the hated power of foreign mechanisms. Amurru was crushed by slaves, but before a complete defeat, the mechanoids managed to release several nuclear warheads, nearly destroying the entire population. Thus, the released people were again forced to start over. They built a new civilization, but could not reach certain heights.
However, they held their hatred for machines for a long time, and even now in the XXVI century AD. there are still tribes that consider any manifestation of technology to be a fiend of hell. Machines have become evil for many. Although these prejudices are now a thing of the past, sects that still oppose technological progress still remain on the planet. Each device, which even remotely resembles a computer or other information storage device, they consider to be a potential enemy. These tribes and sects tend to inhabit the jungle or desert. They live by their own laws, and the government of Nargon prefers not to interfere in their affairs and customs. Nargon became too .... different.
After all, on Nargon, there are a lot of different nationalities and tribes that have their own culture, and the supreme government has no right to decide their fate.

Technology of Amurru represented valuable elements for further research. In 2576 AD The Order and its scientists discovered several artifacts of an ancient machine race in the Shatsk region on the planet Nargon. In the future, the Order decided to create on the basis of these findings the newest heavy tanks of the class “Ofanim”. These heavy-duty machines, reinforced by radial installations, were successfully used in the “Bug War” (confrontation with the race Ara'Nii). A good example was in the Griffin system, where Ara`Nii invaded in large numbers. Only twenty tanks managed to break through the defense of insects and crush their giant Uterus-Tarakantida (champion of the Insect Queen).
But many Nargonians did not approve this borrowing, since believed that all the technologies of the ancient machine race Amurru are nothing but living darkness, and any use of it is the greatest of sins. Moreover, Amurru was once captured by Nargon and its population was kept in slavery for more than 500 years.
