Crash on login Thread - Desura

Desura crashes whenever I try to log in. Even if I select the option to force update and try when that's done it doesn't work.
I'm on Win 7 64 bit.

Was looking into your crash reports and its a browser issue. I think i have fixed the bug in the beta, Ill send you a clean beta install tomorrow so you can give it a try and see if it works.

Try a force update and see if its fixed.

Just tried a forced update, still crashes!

Same for me.. I think it's a Win7 64bit issue :/

I've got Win7 64bit as well and it works without problems for me.

I tried uninstalling Desura and installing it with a newly downloaded version and it didn't work.

Silverfisk i havnt forgotten about you. Just have a lot to do atm. Ill look into it over the next couple of days.

spent most of the morning trying to start Desura, Says Desure update , keeps flashing on an off. Then comes up saying it crashed.

Camcidgos it sounds like you have a very old version of desura. Try uninstalling it and downloading the new installer from Indiedb.com

Silverfisk check your pm's.

Uninstalled Desura again. Cleaned the registry. Downloaded Desura again. Tried to install and I still got this error:

Restarting Desura doesn't work nor the Force Update function.

Think i finally worked out what was causing the crash. Will be fixed next build (in 3 hours or so)

Write here when the build has gone live lodle.

Ill push it to beta now.

How can I opt in for beta if I can't start the program?

Pushed it to public. Should be able to now.

I'm still having the same error after reinstalling. Guess we'll have to wait for the next update :/

god damn. Ill look into the new crashes. Are you sure your on build 14 (do a force update) as i only have crashes from build 13

That update seem to have done it for me, it's working now!

its crashing for me too force update, run as admin, reinstal nothing

you using a different language?

yeah i turned it to finnish. And after that it started crashing. Is that the problem?

EDIT: it was . I deleted finnish.xml and replaced with copy of english one and now it work. thnaks for ointing the language
