For anyone who is, plans to or already has made a computer. Here you can share tips, info and the progress of your custom builds.
Got bored and had a spare low profile 6670 laying around. Looked around for something to do with it. You can pick up an embeded Intel board for crazy cheap these days! I got this Asrock.com board for $75! It has a 2 GHz quad core atom, well a celeron but its a bay trail atom branded as a celeron. Anway its fast, efficient, and fanless. Throw in a 120 GB SSD and a stick of ram and an old psu in a spare NES case and youve got a PC! Plus the 6670 for graphics means this thing is actually very capable. Runs Crysis 3 lol. At low atleast. Was super fun to build though. I didnt read any tutorials online cause i decided i just wanted to wing it and use my own imagination. This is probably one of the most powerful NES's out there, and total price is just over $200 since i used a couple used parts.
