This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.
Concerning Einstein's agnosticism, Einstein said this:
"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals Himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings."
—Albert Einstein
Never once did I say Einstein was a Christian so please don't conjure up fanciful tales. He was an agnostic who also had respect and tolerance for religion. He dismissed religion though but he also dismissed atheism.
I suggest you Google those quotes if you disbelieve them. All it takes is a little work Seeme. I shouldn't have to do that work for you.
Contrary to what Jaing said, most Christians accept Einstein was agnostic because that's what his personal statements say, it's the atheists who lie and call Einstein an atheist even though he explicitly denied being one.
"I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being."
The interesting thing about Einstein is that he never explicitly said he was an Atheist, yet he never explicitly said he was a Christian. He is frequently cited by both Christians and Atheist to back up their arguments, but Einstein made it quite clear that he didn't want to bother with taking a side in the Christian-Atheist debate.
Seeme are you trolling me? You do know Einstein said many things right? He didn't just say one thing on religion and then fade into the shadows. What part of "Quotes by Christians and Others on Atheism and God" don't you understand? Others refers to a deist (Voltaire) and agnostic (Einstein). This is a quote of Einstein and I never left any part out. Your quote doesn't even add onto this one.
He said it afterwards. My point is, that anyone can leave out parts of quotes to leave out points. That's how misinformation sometimes goes around. Any person that doesn't know Einstein could think that he believed in God by this, and then these. Sorry If I seemed a bit confusing at first.
I never left anything out and I never quote mined. I've read all of Einstein's quotes on God and religion. It seems you haven't. These words stand alone and do not connect to anything else Einstein said.

And of course, we can't have people believing that, because if Einstein was a Christian....that would mean he was an evil psychopath who wanted to rule the world and turn people into mindless zombies! OH NOES!!
Sorry that I bother you guys in here, but since those pics were removed from the atheist group, I just wandet to mention something: Stop quote mining. I mean, those people were smart indeed, but it was their opinion and I really give a **** **** about his thoughts on religions. Unless you want to prove something historical, I would rather see people making up their own thoughts with their own words. That is what free speech means. You can let Einstein inspire you, but quoting him serves no real purpose and if he would see that, he would kinda feel abused - at least I would.
Just my 2 cent. Hope I wasnt harsh and have a nice day.

How about you stop making up quotes.

"The bigotry of the nonbeliever is for me nearly as funny as the bigotry of the believer."
— Albert Einstein
Oh and this is what Einstein said about Jesus, Buddha and Moses:

Exactly so stop posting quotes in your group. Now you finally understand.
