Someone read my mind! I always feel exactly like that guy that got kicked. No matter how much you try, there will always be somebody trying to undermine your efforts.

This picture shows very much how atheists are often treated in religious communities.

The atheist being the guy in the brown jacket.

Thats not what this is about. Its about people claiming to be believers but are actually just "wolves in sheeps clothing" attempting to undermine the flock.

ps. What you said is a load of crap. We do not treat people like that unless they are causing trouble. (trying to turn people from God)

Religious communities? I don't think the atheist is kicked out in real life if they're seeking to learn about religion. On the internet however, atheists seem ripe and I only have to go to one article, video or image mentioning God to see atheists rage over it.

Here you go:

Social.bioware.com

This forum post is about Mass Effect 3's endings. The author's title for the thread "Is sci-fi in general (including Mass Effect) afraid to touch the face of God?" and reading the rather short post, you can see that the author is talking about sci-fi series never attaining perfection which he calls the face of God.

Yet posts down we see atheists raging about God even though the original post had nothing to do with God or religion. It's clear that they entered the thread and didn't even read the first post and even by the thread's title, I myself knew that it had nothing to do with God but atheists seem to think that any sentence mentioning God is automatically religious.

Guy 1: "...and that's God's honest truth."
Guy 2: "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR RELIGION OR GOD! NOOOOOOOOOO!"
Guy 1: "Chill out dude. I wasn't even speaking about God or religion."

In real life I see atheists and religious people both quiet but while religious people are outside doing fun stuff you'll always seem to find atheists on the internet raging, moaning and complaining about a god they don't believe in and when some Christian takes a stand against that, the atheist is suddenly the discriminated?

Heh. Well I'll be an elf then.

Well, everyone in the western world is on the internet. As you know, online, the masks are worn and the truth about humanity and our own thoughts is revealed. Religion is only good for those who need it. Some of us don't need it to direct us, and can find our own ways to be moral and ethical without fearing a divine being

Religious people are moral and ethical without fearing a divine being. Religion simply gives a more fluid system to life. Atheism itself is a religion but unfortunately it doesn't teach about respect, tolerance or forgiveness which is something that you atheists could clearly learn from.

It's all well and good being good but having tolerance, respect and forgiveness are needed as well.
