Btw if you wonder it's written in Coptic , however I urge to notify, as a Coptic Christian orthodox deacon myself, we don't believe in amulates, it's not like a magical piece, but we are highly attached to the church and Bible that like sometimes to have phrases from it with us like a blessing and as something to read in spare time to keep the mind concentrated away from possible sinful thought that could come in mind :)
Neither do I, don't do amulets.
That's something more for the occult.
Enchantments/curses more to do with the dark arts such as witchcraft and sorcery. For a Christian, it's best to stay clear of such. Don't get affiliated with the occult. When you do, you're opening yourself up to the darker parts of the spirit world, which is dangerous.
The occult promises power, it promises abilities.
Don't fall for it, because the price is your soul.
Christ can also give power, but this is more to do with the Holy Spirit.
And it's nothing like what the occult offers, it's to do with ministering.
God still heals the sick and give his miracles. The key is too differentiate that between was it really of God or of the devil? False prophets and teachers with power, the devil has his occult for such to "mislead" the flock. Just, be aware of that before giving praise.
In case any of you wondering why I know so much about this, it's because my mother was a part of the occult for a time until she met Christ. She actually went to a school for psychics too back in her university days.
Albeit, most these psychics are often misused prophets. My mother herself was one. There are those of you who are probably skeptical of the idea of prophets.
But they are there. You've just never interacted with a genuine one.
I suppose they don't work anymore because the dark forces got their hands on them
