Steam summer sales? Thread - Bundeals

I tried to check on marlamin...
It doesn't seem to be for thursday! (tomorrow)

I hope I'm wrong!

Usually we get full updates on Valve games (for summer sale special achivements). I didn't saw that neither.

There's been a rumour that it might start on the 12th of July.

However:

• I want it to be tomorrow, because I'm impatient (& quite hyped as usual).
• I want it to be delayed until next month so that I have more money to spend.

Either way, should be good.

... but... all signs are still pointing towards the 12th.

• The CDR currently only has half the number of summer packs as last year
• No games have had updates with new achievements
• A couple of indie devs have claimed that it is the 12th
• The 25% off Codemasters games offer ends on the 12th
• The current midweek madness ends at 16:00 PST, rather than 10:00 PST
• Team Fortress 2 Meet the Pyro thingy finishes on the 12th
• Last week, in Cornwall, a man with four heads was seen taking tea on the beach

You may be right for the 12th! thx Maybe my thoughts are unclear like a schoolgirl in a candy shop.

I get the feeling that indie bundles have become somewhat oversaturated when I can see that I already own at least one game out of each of the eleven bundles. I hope the games by themselves go on a decent discount as I'll pass on most (or all) of these.

On the CDR the bundles have their prices listed at $39.99, but then a discount will be being applied to that. E.g. If it's 75% then they'll be $9.99.

Everyone needs to get the Day 6 bundle. Ticket to Ride is an epic board game, the 360 version of the game isn't too bad so I'm assuming the PC version will be decent, if it supports online multiplayer we all need to get it.

So I was on Amazon.com last night and instead of their logo in my browser it was the Steam logo. I sense something fishy or buggy is going on. Probably buggy.

That'll be your cache playing up, if you clear your browser's cache it should go away.

well i'm broke so that steam sale can go fuck itself. damn you for taking so long.

I've got less cash too than I had two weeks ago, ended up buying other things whilst waiting.

i.e. I managed to go on a spending spree for drugs and prostitutes.
