Tiberium will almost always result in a painful death for the person that comes into contact with it, and Tiberium will sometimes also result in a mutation of the person that might turn them into a Tiberium mutant. However, in rare cases a human actually survives contact and becomes stronger as a result of the Tiberium, but it's pretty rare and still painful.

Vaiden's body and immune system are already far above that of a normal Mobian, and he can already survive direct shots to the head without much in the way of issues or too much pain, so Tiberium in the end will mostly be a positive mutation for him.

Although eventually he will probably need to be augmented with nanotech or otherwise to prevent the Tiberium from becoming a a problem like an opportunistic bacteria infection is. And it is still notably a bit painful for him day-to-day, but he can deal that without much problem.

Just kidding, now it does sound like Tiberium. Although in some cases Tiberium ends up being beneficial but I still wouldn't grab a bunch of crystals myself since it usually results in death.
