Zombie Grinder is the debut game of TwinDrills, an indie game development duo made up of Tim 'Infini' Leonard and Jordan 'Jordizzle' Chewning. It's a multi-platform (windows, mac, Linux!) (also Free!) cooperative multiplayer arcade game, reminiscent in style and gameplay of retro games like 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' and 'Super Smash TV!', but with the added benefit of some newer game mechanics - achievements, ranking, player-customization, rpg style stats and so forth. The game sports a variety of different game modes, from co-operative 'campaign' style levels, to wave maps and even the classic 'pvp' style game modes - deathmatch, capture the 'bag' and so forth. All of these mods are bristling with a variety of weapons and items, all lovingly displayed in Jordan's classic quirky pixel-art style.

Post your maps here, just put a download and image of the map, some of the maps might even be added into the full game. Heres my map. |

I like it! Tho I'll tell you right now, you have way too many Zombie zones/ground zombie positions! :o |

Yeh better to use 4 spawn zones and stretch them out (theres a little red box on the bottom of selected entities you can use to stretch them). Bare in mind that unless you disable fodders and ground zombies then zombies will be able to spawn from outside that selected area. --

Question! How do I add a custom map to the game? I made my own, but even when I dragged it into the map folder in the Bins folder, it still won't show up in the game. Also if I try to play it from SDK I get "file is missing from server to client mod " - " " or something like that. EDIT: Still not working on 319 Edited by: TheWaddleDeeKing |

You can play them by building mod files. Sorry for this, been changing the file-protection, seems I inadvertently went a bit to far lol, will patch it a little bit later. --

"No differences found! Could not build mod file!" ;_; for clarification I put in one of the maps I built into the SDK, hit "build mod file", put in description, author, version 319, and set it to put it in zombiegrinder/data/mods folder. Edited by: TheWaddleDeeKing |

(I deleted my old maps because they were waaaaaaay to small to really walk anywhere) Alright, made a new map and finally tested it out. Unfortunately, its so big I needed two screen shots, so heres a link to both of them img9.imageshack.us/img9/213/throwuppt1.png eh. It kinda looks like I threw up on the screen tbh, Even with all the zombie spawn points, its still pretty easy as a wave map. I think it might be better for something like deathmatch if you just moved the weapons around a bit. Either way, its still there, and if you want it you can get the map and mod in the link below. Alright, I made one more map, and I swear, I actually put effort into this one. Sorry if the pic is a little big. (the site made it stretched out a little, lol. its 115x115. copy the image url if you really want to see it untouched. Also, the Waddle Dee in the corner is inaccessible, and is pretty much just my "signature" for maps). The map is meant to be more of a Capture the Bag or Deathmatch game mode, but because I don't know how to make those, it is simply a wave map. Of course, you can still put friendly fire on and kill your friends if you felt like it :3. Probably won't make any more maps for awhile (not like anyone cares, but alright) due to me not actually playing the game in a few days. Enjoy the map, if you're really going to play it.
