2.1.3 addresses several issues with the 2.1 release that may have been hampering players from experiencing all the content.
We found and fixed a bug that was causing the Spawn Point arrow to point to the wrong spot, as well as causing those who Respawned to respawn to the wrong location.
We also fixed a bug that was causing some areas to revert to original terrain, with the player's changes (dig or build) seemingly erased.
The schematics for Clear Glass, Yellow Sandstone Blocks and the Plasma Rifle have been fixed, you should be able to build them again and with the correct components.
The Host of a Multiplayer game can now go into the Multiplayer Menu and toggle themselves to Host Mode (the same way you set a player Observer). In Host Mode the Host will not take damage or radiation and will not have to breathe: but like any Observer they also will not be able to interact with the world.
This allows the Host to set Host Mode to run the server constantly, even when they're away, letting other players connect and play anytime.
Players may now notice a "ghost block" beside any new block they build. This isn't a bug, it's actually an awesome new building feature! Anytime you are targeting the last block you placed (such as after having just built it) and slide your aim off the block, you will be presented with a block outline adjacent to that block that will let you build into it.
This effectively saves you from having to jump up and shoot down to make a wall, or sidle up to and edge and point backwards to build a bridge. Just try building a bridge or wall now and you'll see how effective this new feature is.
Our long-time fan, still crosshair, has put together a video showing off the new features. You can find an example of Adjacent Building at 1:45 in if you need to see it (it's a bit hard to explain in text!):
