Hello again everyone! A news update already? Damn we're getting frequent!
Anyway, in this update I'll be talking about the mechanics of War of The Servers including how the factions work and questions from a made up entity I'm going to call Jimmy!
War of The Servers is something never done before (as far as our records go..) so besides lobbing tiny pieces of metal at each other at high speed there is also the original parts of War of The Servers, the clan/faction based gameplay. War of The Servers allows you and your faction to war against other factions for your rightful place on the leader board as well as unlocking new, awesome goodies for you and your faction! Here's some questions you might be asking:
WTF is a faction?!!1ONE?
Well my rather excited friend, a faction is essentially your own private army! That's right, lets say you're done with being told what to do, why don't you take charge of your own faction! Start your own faction by using our trusty in game faction creator (or you can use our website, whatever makes your boat float..). You will have plenty of options here to make sure your faction is original and people know who you are for example create your own faction name, tag, image and emblem and so forth. You are limited to 32 people per faction and can only be in one faction. Also, once you pick a faction (some are open, some you must apply depending on how organised the leader wants his group), you're there for good! Unless you step out of line and get kicked! Dummy!
But wait, hold on, what the hell am I supposed to do in the meantime while there is nothing going on?
Well Jimmy, that's an important question. We figured that 32 people walking around in their faction servers showing off their neat new armour would get boring.. very quickly. So, what can you do when you're bored? Head on over to our Public servers where anyone is welcome, even the factionless! In the Public servers they will work like your average FPS game, however you can only earn a certain amount of XP per day and you will not get any perks like you do when playing Faction vs Faction.
What if I'm not on the game when there is a war?!
Don't worry about that, we've got you covered! There is an optional extra included in the game that will notify you if your faction is fighting without you! Then, you will have a certain amount of time to comply and you will be able to jump right in and start bashing heads with your team!
What will my faction get for kicking ass?
Well, for kicking ass in the sense that you beat the other team, you'll receive a great deal of goodies for you and your faction! For example, if you were to come high up in the leaderboards at the end of the month, you and your faction will win new armour (purely cosmetic, gotta look pretty while you fight), weapons, attachments and a whole lot of other unlockables!
