An open world co-operative sailing game. Players work together to sail a ship in the pursuit of adventure! Currently being built in Unreal 4, we are still in early development.
A.I Ship pursuit testing - these guys will chase you pretty fiercely now!
Just curious...
Are you deliberately using a stylised colour scheme now?
Recent screenshots have a decidedly different look from what came before.
Hm, could be the time of day? I haven't been doing anything especially different with the colours other than trying to make them pop when I can. What are your thoughts?
Nailing a concrete visual style is something that's had to take a back seat while I put all my attention in to engine/programming work - so any palette changes at the moment (better or worse) are purely accidental I assure you =P
Indeed I assumed it might be time-of-day related as well. Or maybe it is related to what you are doing to "make the colours pop where you can".
Of course engine/programming work is far more important than the visual style, so sounds like you've got your priorities in the right spot!
Do you have any screenshots in bright daylight? Now I'm curious about that.
