When your weapon jams Thread - Warhammer 40000: There Is Only War

when your weapons jam, like i suggested before allow your weapon to jam 3 to 4 times before it become usless and can nolonger be used and when that hapsn adn your in the heal of the battle and unable to replace your weapon, make it so when your weapon jams you can turn it into a club so you can use it to beat and an enemy soldier to death. but you ask why use your broken weapon as a club instead of your close combat weapon ? but when your weapon breaks have it as a crude club then make your character go into a bazurker mode for 1 or 2 minits were you gain speed strength and damage increases. you go into a bazurker mode because your angery and just pissed because your weapon has been broken and that stops you from being able to kill your enemy. this would be better for the orks then the humans just for the fact that a human would not go as insain as an ork. but then you could also give the guard something like this were when they die you have the option to use your pistol in last stand to shoot your enemy or you can pull the pins on all your grenades to try to kill and one else around you when you die.
