i know you do not wish to have auto guns in the mod. but for the Imperial Guard i have found more things of their side arms being an auto pistol and officers with a bolt pistol, not to many references having to do with the laspistol. i even looked through my Imperial Solderis Inantry Primer and it has not references about the laspistol, says the auto pistol is more commonly used with Guard then the laspistol supprisingly, has more power and damage then the lasgun so an idea weapon to have, but ammo would only be like 3 or 4 clips not manny since it would have to be manufactured not charged, but yea if soldiers of the Imperial Guard like verterains or officers or even soldiers get pistols i would give them a autopistol and give the officer a choice of auto pistol or bolt pistol, not laspistol. bolt or auto gun are much better weapons then the las weapons and would be more suited for the officers. |

Autopistols main weakness compared to laspistols is lack of reliability and ammo,which kind of goes against the main points of sidearms. Still for more eliteguardsman it would be nice to see. |
