Apart from making the AR2 recoil more random (it's a bit predictable atm), i'm happy with how the ar2 and smg1 are right now. I haven't tuned their damage against players yet, just against bots. needs players heh. I really want to leave enabling the class system for as long as possible because it's basically a pandora's box of damage tuning complexity. (The current issues we have with our damage tuning is that none has happened. ) I'm going to play with the currently enabled pistols and the crowbar this evening and see what I can do. It would be grand to get real weapon models and animations in -- things like reloading are entirely dependent on the length of the reloading animation, for example, although this can be hacked out if necessary. Here's my personal current short-term plan:
would be great if everyone else would reply with what they're doing, too -- progress is motivating and thus creates progress! it's the perpetual motion machine your physics teacher always said couldn't exist. |

the crowbar needs to take double time to swing, yet do much more damage. |
