This program is VERY easy to use..
I) What formats does it convert from?
a) .3ds models, all versions of 3DSMax should support this type.
b) .obj models, exported only from Milkshape3D.
II) How do I convert?
a) Type in the filename of the (3ds/obj) model that you wish to convert in the first text field.
b) Type in the filename of the (mdx) model that you wish to convert to in the second text field.
examples: In the first text field...
"C:Program FilesDaishi.3ds"
In the second text field...
"C:Program FilesDaishi.mdx"
c) Press the convert button (the oversized one at the bottom of the dialog box).
III) How do I add a model to the mpq?
a) Do a-c in II).
b) Go to 'File', then 'AddToMPQ'.
c) Type in the filename of the mpq file that you wish to add the model to.
d) Type in the model PATHNAME that will be used in the mpq/game to reference to the model.
e) Press the 'insert' button.
IV) How do I change the texture pathname?
a) Go to 'Textures', then 'Texture Pathname...'.
b) Change the pathname of the texture that you wish to use for the model.
c) Press 'ok'.
note: Multi-texturing is yet to be supported.
