WotW is a game that is based on the H.G Wells book and Jeff wayne Musical, It follows a Soldier in the 1890's English military who has been sent to investigate the crash site of an alleged Martian ship which fell near Horsall Commons. You will play as that Soldier and witness the horror that the Martians bring upon the country, Making you're way through the destruction and fighting for you're very survival. This game is being made using the UDK engine.

what will be the size of this tripod? i've seen cutscenes where it's HUGE and other when it's just a bit taller then a man. And what about bombarding machines? Black smoke?
From what I know from the very old game you get too types of tripods, one with blue eyes and just a bit taller then a man I call it a scout,
then there’s the other one with green eyes an is Huge, that’s what this one is, not to scale at the moment but I want it to be as big as Big Ben,
as for “bombarding machines” are they the things from the old game, that look like the hell pig things from the first doom? Well this game is based of the book by H.G wells and the musical by Jeff Wynes so I don’t think we will have “bombarding machines” but there will be handling machines and black smoke.
if you mean hellpig like a two legged walker, then yes. The bombarding machines where added to the game because martians needed artillery. BTW this is how it looks Youtube.com

Man I haven’t seen that game in years, ho well, I got to see the back of a tripod, I need to add a tail on the back of this model, that’s because the only concept art I used to make this Model was the CD case from the musical :S
