My next big project. I'll add some smaller works in-between, considering that not all the planes are in the game yet, and I don't know how soon (if at all) TS will add them to the game.

So, there are a few questions I'd like to ask.
1) Should I release the pack in "parts", by adding the skins whenever the plane becomes available? Or just make them and wait until all planes are released, then release the whole pack?
2) The WIP is not yet final, not by far, so the planes might change. Feel free to contribute by giving your own suggestions to the concept.

Might want to release it per part, according to the chronological appearance (i.e the first part contains all 3 ace squadrons you encounter in mission 3 plus Gelb)

I can't access the reccomended plane list from here, but I think all aircraft save for the Viggen are in the production line with different priorities assigned to them (I think most of the aircraft you want are in the 3nd or 3rd priority lists). Don't quote me on this ):

TBH I'd like to see the squadrons to use the opposing force's plane instead, i.e squads with NATO planes (Indigo, Schnee, Sorcerer, etc) uses Russian jets and vice versa (Gelb flies F-15ACTIVE for example)

If the planes were all available that's my "plan B" on time dependence scale.
The second option means that that I'd release Galm, Rot, Sorcerer, Schnee and Huckebein now, and other squadrons as soon as TS adds the corresponding plane. (Galm are already done, for example).

The pack concept has actually started from that, but I wanted to try more variety than just mirroring the planes with the similar role analogues. Like Su-34 being a best choice for Black Ops Squadron like Schwarze (big operation radius, multirole capabilities, a large cockpit in case of VIP evac). That, and there's no analogue to YF-23 (PAK-FA is the BW era looks just out of place and it outperforms Morgan) and F-16XL.
The Gelb F-15 ACTIVE, is not beyond consideration however, especially since MyHatismyFriend says that Viggen is not on priority lists (that way Indigo gets Mirage, and Espada - Super Bug).

Is it just me or moddb forum works extremely bizarre?

Broken Mirror Galm Team WIP skins. Su-27SM.

Redesign is loosely based of Gromov LII paint scheme (a.k.a. Knight scheme for Su-27 in ACZ). Ustio Air Force emblem is in the same place as "Gvardia" roundel, marking Galm as an elite squadron.

Thought to put more emphasis that the plane's wing was torn to pieces, not just torn off.

That was an interesting idea with pixy's wing but shouldn't the base skin be silver or gray splinter camo?

It was in AHL and i think that only takes place a few years later. Plus if I remember correctly there were F-35s in the BW.

Some news on this project.
The pack will be split into two parts:
Preview pack will include planes available in version 0.2264;
Planes included: Galm Su-27SM (Both Cipher and Pixy), Rot F-16C, Schnee F-15 (B, J or E - not final, yet), Sorcerer Su-30MKI, Gelb F-15B/ACTIVE (might be changed in final pack), Huckebein F-104 and Crow 3 (not decided yet).
Final pack will be added after VT release, whenever it happens.

What F-15 variant would fit Schnee Squadron better B, J or E?
What plane would fit Crow team better MiG-29 (SMT, K, M), F-15 (C, XX) or something else?

In addition I plan to revamp my nations of Strangereal pack. It will include MiG-29A/S/K and F-16A/C in addition to Su-27 and F-15 and the latter two will have expanded modification list.

Okay, so I've ran into an interesting issue working on ripped ACZ textures. Apparently, ACZ engine and VTs engine process the textures very differently.

The colors are the same, but:

So, I guess, there's still a lot of work for me, when VT gets its final release.

On the brighter point, the Broken Mirror pack is finished.

Galm 2 (colors edited)

Crow 3 (new)

Rot (pattern and colors edited)

Gelb (new)

Huckebein the Raven (new)

Schnee (colors edited, different aircraft)

Sorcerer (colors edited)

Grab them here for now. Tomorrow, I'll upload them properly in the addon section.

The final version of the pack will, probably, have some different planes and color balance.
