Yep. Would other players need to download it to see it? Would be something like in GarrysMod where it autodownloads everything you need |

For the first part, this post suggests that there will eventually be a way to see custom content online.
As to a tutorial, I know one is given during the creation process of the F-104. I don't know if this will be of any use, and I'm not entirely certain if there is a tutorial solely on creating skins, but you can see if this does anything for you. Edited by: SpootKnight |

inb4 becoming pokeman. Gotta catch dem all custom paint jobs. But how you could implement filtering stuff to prevent idiots from spamming with things like dick-themed skins? -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

Thanks for the answers. The capturing skins thing sounds really fun.
Can we hope only decent people will play and skin their aircraft? |

I can't say the system is set in stone, since it was mentioned the one time at the end of last year. For filtering, I'm still unsure if it's possible to specifically filter a download, other than to say "do download skins" or "don't download skins." |

Content sharing is something I´m really interested. But about filtering, maybe adding a mechanism that after the match show you the skins and you only keep the ones that you are interested? Also about content sharing, I have another idea for this, I want to study the possibility of adding a coop mode were you can share and play your own custom missions. |

I remember this was something I've asked about before, so I would certainly make use of co-op mission sharing. |

It might be doable, valve games usually let you share maps, sprays, and other stuff. |

Please make it not to be only exclusive to Steam Workshop. Edited by: Nergal01 -- anon wrote: 'anon' wrote: Now I shall use this 'Vector Thrust Threshold' to measure how awful your product is |

Just an idea. Edited by: KnX |

@ Nergal01, it won´t be a Steam Workshop exclusive @ KnX I really like this idea, and it is fully possible because all the information can be stored in the client side (player) |

If we ended up with CS:GO's system of skin trading, I think that would be pretty wonderful. Also the idea of having my own online assault record seems nice. |

Not having played since Source in maybe '06, what is GO's system? |

Everyone will know when you have a custom skin on your gun, it can be traded on the steam market place for money or other skins, otherwise you can get one by doing certain tasks or random drops. Community skins can still be made and if approved, can be made official skins. Of course this wouldn't work with what is happening here as I presume we're talking about how EVERYONE can be able to make a custom skin, however a variant thereof would be nice. |

Ah, so trading there is done through Steam's marketplace and trading cards? |
