An 1vs1 (dog)fighting mode, with the following rules:
-Can be played individually (1vs1) or teams
-Choose between 1 round, 3 rounds, or 5 rounds fight
-You/your team are given specific amount of budget, and must choose buy different plane for each round (STDM only. Any plane with more OP STDM will be replaced with standard Sidewinder/R-60 or its counterpart)
-If team mode is selected, other teammate will fight in the next round should the previous player lost the round. Otherwise they can choose to play in the next round if they want to (replacing the previous player).
-As per typical fighting game, leaving the ring map boundary means instant-disqualification. So does one can not simply camp by flying so high that the opponent cannot catch up.
-You'll get a warning for not shooting any missile for 30 seconds, and you'll be disqualified if you do the same for the next 30 second.
-For masochist, there's a SUDDEN DEATH mode that makes every player to only have 1 HP. Best played with wild west/Mexican-themed song/Zero as the background music.

This mode is well suited to solve problems/dispute in the manliest way possible, in the skies.

This kind of duel begs for spectator mode too.
Maybe some kind of bet system?

Of course there got to be spectator for everyone that isn't playing.

For betting, that might work; betting your 'budget' that the winning bidder will have access to better/more expensive plane.

Nah, my alternative is that the budget can be used to 'buy' such kind of stuff and other dirty tricks; ECM jammer (as per the report before), sabotage, drones, and so on.
