DVD Version:
1. Install the game
2. Look up patches online
3. Install patch 1, 2 & 3
4. Create a shortcut to launchUaW
5. Create a folder in your game folder called MOD and extract the HumanMod
and CommunityPatch folders inside it.
6. extract the CustomMaps folder inside "Universe At War - Earth Assault\Data"
7. Edit the launch shortcut's target by adding at the end MODPATH=Mod\HumanMod
and MODPATH="Mod\\CommunityPatch"
Exemple: "G:\Universe At War - Earth Assault\LaunchUAW.exe" MODPATH=MOD\CommunityPatch MODPATH=MOD\HumanMod
8. Launch game
Steam Version:
1. Install the game
2. Install patch 1, 2 & 3 manually
3. Create a folder in your game folder called MOD and extract the HumanMod
and CommunityPatch folders inside it.
4. extract the CustomMaps folder inside "Universe At War - Earth Assault\Data"
5. Right click on the game in your steam library and select "properties"
6. Under the General tab there will be an option called "Launch Options"
7. In the Launch Options box add MODPATH="Mod\\HumanMod"
and MODPATH="Mod\\CommunityPatch"
8. Launch game
Add to the research branch so that there is a ready infantry detachment in the BMP, where there were rocket men, submachine gunners and a medic, as in version 1.02, you can in principle even increase the price.
