Pressing the '?' button brings up an overlay that shows powerup icons, and tags on the current player and on the next one.
The 'next player tag' seems an excessive thing to have, but in 3-4 player matches it's very useful to know who's the one you have to screw up.
In UFHO2 in fact, your actions have the more effect on the next player and less on the others, so it's better to concentrate on him.
