A true classic fps game and in my opinion the best FPS on the Nintendo 64... yes better than golden eye. It was a great game for its time with some superb animation work, some of the best ever, honestly. Even compared to some games being made now, Turok 2s animation work is truly holding up. The game also sported some pretty great AI and some very detailed graphics, some of the best on the system.

Detailed soft skin character and enemy models and towering bosses combined with huge and varied environments. It's not much now, but back then on a console this was impressive stuff. Tons of different types of enemies coming for you with gore flying everywhere and over the top weapons that are also beautifully animated and look great. The game honestly looked like a really early PS2 game at times.

This was originally a Nintendo 64 game, though, and all of this really took its toll on the limited console. The game ran terribly, had horrible frame rate drops, and could never really reach its true potential because of this. Turok 2 was acclaimed when it was first released, but was sadly forgot about because it was stuck on the Nintendo 64 and the old PC port was also not the best.

This has all been changed now thanks to Nightdive. The remaster looks better and runs 1000 times better than the old Nintendo version at a locked 60 fps. The multiplayer is here also and is still fun and even comes with a new horde mode. The game is fun and challenging and one of the very best games for the Nintendo 64, and it's great even now on PC. Turok 2 is one of the true GOATS of old school 90s shooters. PLAY THIS CLASSIC!!

A seriously great blockbuster sized game especially when it first released on console.

The game was way to big and ambitious for the hardware of its time though sadly.
The new remaster makes it so much more playable and its easily the best version of the game to play ever its so much better than the N64 version and better than the old pc port.

Now you can pay the game at its best. No more annoying slowdowns back on the n64 the game ran at like maybe 10 fps and that went all the way down to like 5 or less when you were using the big weapons shooting loads of enemies it got pretty bad. No more issues at all now though the game runs at 60 fps pretty smoothly and you can adjust the FOV its so much better and more polished now.

Huge complex levels decent AI for the time really nice graphics and animations for its time especially for a console great soundtrack huge and amazing weapons and tons of enemies to butcher.

Turok 2 is a lost masterpiece of an FPS it's the best game in the series and one of the best games for the N64 and the new remaster makes it even better. Nightdive have not only made the game more playable then ever they have added lots of graphical touches and loads of little bells and whistles to make the game even better and yes they are all optional so you can toggle them on or off.

Great game great remaster.

A cult classic from back in the day of the N64, now that NightDive remastered it, even better!
And there is this awesome Texture Mod for it, called Ultra64. Brilliant!

Just like the first game, Turok 2 was a mindblowing experience. I never thought my N64 could produce graphics this beautiful and atmosphere this thick. Turok 2 improves upon the original in nearly every way and has a ton of fun unique weapons. The port by Nightdive is just as high quality as the first one, featuring 60FPS, mod support and graphical & gameplay enhancements
