Sorry that we don't have any screenies or videos in this update, but we do have good news.
Production should go faster now. Why? Well part of the reason production was slow is because we weren't even sure what exactly we were doing, so mappers were making random, pointless maps, no one knew who the characters were gonna be so no one made a player model.
Well we have figured out and we would like to know what you guys think.
Some people were saying don't do a Left 4 Dead remake, and some people were saying do a Left 4 Dead remake. So how about this:
We make Left 4 Quake's story as if Valve made Left 4 Dead 2 with the original 4 characters.
So its the original 4 characters, but what happens to them after they leave the airport in the Dead Air campaign.
This way we have the more familiar (and in my opinion, better) 4 characters Zoey, Francis, Louis, and Bill.
But we can add original maps/levels, new/more weapons, new story, and MAYBE new special infected.
And as for a REAL update. We are getting close to releasing a single player (or at least co-op) Demo. The demo will showcase everything we have implemented so far on a familiar level: No Mercy. Our great mapper Cory(theidiot) is completely remaking the No Mercy campaign and is doing a great job.
