Treasure Breaker 1.7 is now available on android and will be available on iOS by next week!
We have received quite a few feedbacks regarding the gameplay and controls of the game, so we did some improvements to it.
One of the more popular issues is that players are quite confused with the touch controls. We realized that players never read the 1 line tip which appears before the game start, telling them to tap on the left or right side of the screen to move the character around. Most players swap their fingers to the left and right, causing unexpected behavior to the character, which in-turn make the players feel frustrated about the controls.
To solve this issue, we added 2 white arrows on both sides of the screen with the word ‘tap’ above it. The arrows will disappear when the player tapping on the screen.
Another issue is that we placed all the special items such as poison, heart, gold coin, etc. in levels which are very far behind. Most of the players never reached level 15 and above, which means they quit the game before they even get to experience the actual fun factor of the game.
To solve this issue, we moved the special items to the beginning levels so that players can encounter them at the early stages and won’t find the levels repetitive and boring.
