its been a while since i've updated the page, but things are slowly coming together.

Many, many changes have occurred to make The P.E.E.A.C droid project more of a solid game. The H.U.D has been heavily updated and contains icons adjacent to the resource counter, also, the H.U.D takes up a lot less space, meaning its less annoying and doesn't get in the way. By changing the H.U.D, the game looks less like a shoddily built pile of rubbish and more like a genuinely enjoyable game. When hovering over buttons, instead of a simple label saying what the button is showing up, a description of the item is shown, informing the reader what it is instead of having obscure names, also, the cost of that item is shown, meaning that players don't have to guess how much they use up when building.

I've also refined various aspects of the coding, meaning in later use, I can copy and modify enemies and weapons without looking back on it and thinking "what does this bit do again?". This 'refining' of the game may take a little while but will allow me to make large scale updates a lot quicker and a lot easier.

The first weapons of each category have nearly been made, meaning that the production of the other ones are much, much quicker. New weapons include the hammer, a slow but powerful melee weapon that requires timing to hit your opponent, an impact grenade launcher, which is a work in progress but can destroy terrain and enemies and a railgun, which is quite fun to use if you can aim.

Commands for your droids are now being worked on, you can now place a beacon, and tell your units to go towards it, you can also tell your droids to be defencive or tell them to follow you and fight with you.

The buildings are also receiving a new 'paint job' , instead of drawing the buildings, scanning them in then filling them and adding a gradient, I will redo the old ones and create new ones through the computer, all using some better image editing software.
