Small acute social point-and-click adventure. The main character of the game is Masha, a resident of a regular town in 90th. She is a loving mother and careful wife, but her husband, full of different problems, falls down to the alcoholism and domestic abuse. Masha agrees to tolerate, but not when it is about life and health of her child, she is ready to do anything... The game is not recommended for pregnant women and very impressionable people.

I noticed the version of the game is different between the standalone .rar package (1.1.e) and the Desura client release (1.2.e) - Is this intentional?

Wow, I really enjoyed this game and found it had a really big impact. Some of the puzzles left me scratching my head for a long time (the numbers bit and getting stuck in the kitchen to be specific), but overall I loved it.

I just did a let's play of The Kite (check it out here - Youtube.com) , and honestly I'm very disappointed in it. The very serious and dark nature of this game is totally lost in the ridiculous puzzles and shoddy dialogue translation. I think people are reading far too much into the game's obvious flaws when they say they somehow "add" to the atmosphere of the game. The Kite had a GREAT opportunity to immerse the player into some of the harsh realities of domestic abuse, but the game mechanics were just so out of whack the game almost felt comical. This game would have made a MUCH better digital novel rather than a point and click game.
Wow, this game was really intense. I don't even know what else to say about it. I finished it yesterday and I'm still feeling emotional about it.

Really good game. I very much enjoyed the grudge gray scale art style. The puzzles are not too difficult to solve, but still take some brain power to get through. Overall I enjoyed playing.

I really did enjoy this game. Beautiful artwork, and fun though not impossible puzzles. The only complained I would have is that it was really difficult to tell when teh mouse indicator would show if the item was right or left click-able. I hope you make more games, this was a wonderufl game experience for me
