The Key is a survival horror game with some physics based puzzle elements. Your only means of survival are to avoid detection, if detected, run for your life, or in some areas you will be presented with an opportunity to lead your blood thirsty pursuers into deadly traps. Your terror starts when a being known as The Keeper traps you in a sewer to have you run through his games and see how long you will survive for his amusement, he promises to let you go if you can find The Key... whatever that is, is unknown. Nobody has ever lived long enough to discover if The Keeper keeps his promises, or if The Key even exists. You will spend the majority of the game in dark caverns, sewers, and brief outdoor moments. Caverns go from claustrophobic tunnels to large open underground vistas lurking with countless unseen horrific creatures.

Post news Report RSS Early Game Demo This Weekend

This weekend we're putting up a small demo of the progress we made so far on the game, there's a lot more we need to add to the game and a lot of things we need to fix. With your input and help we plan to push this game past our own expectations. At the moment I'm thinking we'll likely update the demo every couple weeks till you have the first three completed and refined levels for free, then put up a teaser or two down the road of what to expect from the rest of the game when it's released.

With your input and help we plan to push this game past our own expectations. At the moment I'm thinking we'll likely update the demo every couple weeks till you have the first three completed and refined levels for free, then put up a teaser or two down the road of what to expect from the rest of the game when it's released. I'm just going to estimate that there will be maybe around 10 levels, not exactly sure yet, there may even be more levels than that in the final game. Let us know what you think.
