I do believe the system requirements were added after the fact.

Desura-I took the risk of purchasing this game and accept full responsibility for that decision.
- If there is no demo then the developer should be obligated to provide system requirements

Immortal Games-I was left with the impression that there isn't much interest in supporting Windows XP.

As far as I am concerned this issue is closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of my computers are Windows Xp

This is an example of why there should be a demo

I certainly didn't see any specific system requirements. I normally don't purchase items that don't have demos. Decided to break my on rule--live and learn i guess.

I dont know if it has been added recently but look at the summary.
Quote: "Please note, this game requires Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 or Windows 8 to run." no Xp support but the developer/s also already answered this below. :)

Purchased "the Golden Conquest this morning and it won't run on either of my winxp laptops.

I get a failure to launch on Desura and on direct download installation I get a Code 193 not a valid win 32 error.

Please advise

Hi Fargo,

We're sorry to hear this. Do you have access to a computer running Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 or Windows 8? As I'm afraid we do not currently support Windows XP.
