The year is 9108. Québec City is celebrating its 7500th anniversary. The overpopulated metropolis of 900 millions inhabitants lives an idylic, eccentric, but at the same time, dystopic lifestyle. Peace is about to end, though, as aliens, called the Tibestians, are now getting ready to wipe us out. In this satirical and over-the-top action-RPG inspired from Ys and Mega Man, you play the role of a reprogrammed Tibestian robot who is now friendly (although scary for locals) who has to go defeat his master, who has setup a robot-building factory North of the Harlaka District and is now threatening the human race. It is one of the rare RPG Maker 2003 project to feature real-time action battles without using mods and hacks, too.

Description

Here are the first 28 minutes of Superstar Hero gameplay. It is heavily inspired from the Ys series of Japanese action-RPG's as well as 8 and 16 bit console games. The game story is set in the year 9108 in a dystopian Quebec City and surrounding areas, and the Tibestian alien race is threatening Earth. You are an enemy robot whose memory was corrupted and as a result, you are now friendly to humans and left with the mission to save the world.

This is one of the few RPG Maker 2003 game to feature real-time action like in Zelda instead of turn-based battles. It is not 100% complete, so some stuff might be added to the game later, but it can be beaten from start to finish including side quests.
