The game you are trying to view has ceased development and consequently been archived. If you are a member of this game, can demonstrate that it is being actively developed and will be able to keep this profile up to date with the latest news, images, videos and downloads, please contact us with all details and we will consider its re-activation.

We regret to inform you that Lucasfilm has denied our request, we want to thank you though for your support but this wont be the last your hear of us. We won't be deleting our content that we have created but we will store it for the time being, and if we don't see Knights of the Old Republic 3 in the next ten years, Then we will present our case again to them. But on a personal note, perhaps this may encourage EA to pick this up, as there is great potential for this. We will keep doing our best and pleading with EA and Disney to let us make this game.

Post news Report RSS Servers are UP!

Were pleased to report that all our servers are back up and running at full capacity after the fire we had in our server. We were also experiencing some intermittent problems with our domain registrar so we have also switched to another DNS.

We would also like to take the time to tell you, We have received communication from Lucasfilm, we will not go into much detail only to say that, we have a very good feeling about whats to come in the next few months. Be sure to follow our progress as we will be updating the sites, and creating a community forum for SWKotOR3

It seems were our server issues are generating from Bind9 on Linux, which is quite annoying.

23:13 GMT - We found the root cause. The internal router was to blame. sites are up and running, Droitech Games will be displaying a copy of the SWKotOR3 website whilst we create the new website.

Update: 1st August 06:05 GMT,

Not been too well guys, i was in the hospital last night folks, i fell down a flight of stairs and fractured my foot, please be patient as i know your all waiting for footage, i should be discharged later on today so i will be able to continue working on the game.

Update 2nd August 21:47 GMT,

Thanks for being supportive of us, We have removed the pre-order option from the main website as requested by the community, we are also working on creating the community forums for the game, we do have our own funding to create this game, and as for how were going to get the original voices, we will contact their agents in due course, and offer them a contract simple. it will be up to them if they wish to accept.

And one last thing, why are so many giving us such negativity were not asking for money of you, just your support and time, you have nothing to lose from giving your support to us. All we want to do is just make this game for YOU to play. sure it looks like nothing right now, but we will be giving the source files too so you can put your own feel to the game, if you dont like something, we want to give the ability to change it, and go and play.

Check out the Heads up Display master file we have uploaded, its almost complete but we wanted to share it as is, as we want to prove as much as we can that we are not "trolls" and are genuine about this development.

This game was cancelled a decade ago, were bringing it back to life as it doesn't seem right that this game stays in the pile of cancelled games, which is huge mind you, and depending on the success of this game we will look at bringing other cancelled games back, as we think its good investment to do so.

All were asking of you is to be patent with us and show your support to us, TSL was Obsidians first game, just like TEA is our first game, and also no-one knew that game was being made until it came out, and it was only done at the request of Bioware, as they wanted to focus on their own IP's, Obsidian did do a really good job on TSL even though they had to cut content because of a rushed deadline.

Also take a look the recent direction Lucasfilm is taking on the Expanded Universe,
quoted from the Star Wars website

(link : Starwars.com )

"For over 35 years, the Expanded Universe has enriched the Star Wars experience for fans seeking to continue the adventure beyond what is seen on the screen. When he created Star Wars, George Lucas built a universe that sparked the imagination, and inspired others to create. He opened up that universe to be a creative space for other people to tell their own tales. This became the Expanded Universe, or EU, of comics, novels, video games, and more.
While Lucasfilm always strived to keep the stories created for the EU consistent with our film and television content as well as internally consistent, Lucas always made it clear that he was not beholden to the EU. He set the films he created as the canon. This includes the six Star Wars episodes, and the many hours of content he developed and produced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. These stories are the immovable objects of Star Wars history, the characters and events to which all other tales must align.
Now, with an exciting future filled with new cinematic installments of Star Wars, all aspects of Star Wars storytelling moving forward will be connected. Under Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy’s direction, the company for the first time ever has formed a story group to oversee and coordinate all Star Wars creative development.
“We have an unprecedented slate of new Star Wars entertainment on the horizon,” said Kennedy. “We’re set to bring Star Wars back to the big screen, and continue the adventure through games, books, comics, and new formats that are just emerging. This future of interconnected storytelling will allow fans to explore this galaxy in deeper ways than ever before.”
In order to give maximum creative freedom to the filmmakers and also preserve an element of surprise and discovery for the audience, Star Wars Episodes VII-IX will not tell the same story told in the post-Return of the Jedi Expanded Universe. While the universe that readers knew is changing, it is not being discarded. Creators of new Star Wars entertainment have full access to the rich content of the Expanded Universe. For example, elements of the EU are included in Star Wars Rebels. The Inquisitor, the Imperial Security Bureau, and Sienar Fleet Systems are story elements in the new animated series, and all these ideas find their origins in roleplaying game material published in the 1980s.
Demand for past tales of the Expanded Universe will keep them in print, presented under the new Legends banner.
On the screen, the first new canon to appear will be Star Wars Rebels. In print, the first new books to come from this creative collaboration include novels from Del Rey Books. First to be announced, John Jackson Miller is writing a novel that precedes the events of Star Wars Rebels and offers insight into a key character’s backstory, with input directly from executive producers Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman.
And this is just the beginning of a creatively aligned program of Star Wars storytelling created by the collaboration of incredibly talented people united by their love of that galaxy far, far away….

StarWars.com. All Star Wars, all the time."

So in other words, this direction makes it possible for Knights of the Old Republic 3 to be created under this new direction, hence why we are making it happen. Although the issue whether with SWTOR is classed as cannon or legends is fuzzy at best, heres why all events leading up to the Lucasfilm story group created story events in SWTOR could possibly be classed as Legends and if so then the events with Revan in can be disregarded as cannon, leading to the possibility of Revan and the Exile fates actually undecided because of the Revan novel by Drew Karpyshyn (fantastic writer by the way) is could more than likely be classed as legends and therefore be non-cannon, since SWKotOR and SWKotOR2 is non-cannon as its in with the Star Wars Legends group. Lucasfilm wants the whole Star Wars Universe to be as one, but only content that they have oversight on, so Potentially Revan, could as a possibility survive his encounter with the Sith Emperor, and Also maybe the Exile will survive too, perhaps even to form the new Jedi Council on Coruscant, there is so much opportunity for this game to thrive on, there is so much content that is undecided but thats what these two years give us, that creative freedom we need to create such a powerful game.

But on last note, everything will be discussed with Lucasfilm on Tuesday.

its a problem with bind9, we did have them working, and there working internally, could just be an issue with our firewalls being too secure.
