It's not explicitly supported (to understand why I'd suggest reading up on what SP's Effects and Materials system does). For some people I believe it has worked and for others it has had strange bugs.

You can feel free to give it a go but your mileage may vary!

First you need to download the latest Shader Patch release from here Github.com ("shaderpatch.zip" is the file you're after), extract it and run "Shader Patch Installer.exe".Then you download the map, extract it and copy the "MPR" folder into your game's "Addon" folder as you would for any other mod.

Sorry, but I'm still confused. Here is what I did. I first went to the GitHub link and installed shaderpatch.zip, extracted it and ran it, and installed it. I then went to the moddb mygeeto page and clicked the huge red download button to get the MPR.7z file and extracted using winzip and put that extracted folder into the addon folder found in the gamedata folder. Even though I did all of this, it still doesn't work. I have the rezzed mygeeto and the 1.3 patches, do these have any effects on this mod?

Seems like you did everything right. Are you playing on the right map? This is just a regular addon map that should show up as "Mygeeto: War-Torn City" in your map list, separately from the stock "Mygeeto" map.

I read the conversation above on how to install this mod and started playing the map and I have to say, I actually think it looks better than Harrisonfogs rezzed map! I hope you can do this to more maps and maybe add more game modes to them as well!

Currently I'm working towards enabling people to prebake high quality lighting for maps. I believe this will give the biggest visual improvement yet. Once that is done I certainly imagine someone (be it myself or not) will Shader Patch-ify more stock maps.

Regarding the gamemodes this only has Conquest for the sake of simplicity. (So that things are easier for modders looking through the source files to see how everything works, since the main reason for this addon map existing is to be a reference for them.) However if you go into "addon\MPR\data\_LVL_PC\MPR\SP" and copy the "myg1.lvl" in there over the game's normal "myg1.lvl" it'll replace the stock Mygeeto map and the gamemodes should just work. I haven't tested this but it should work, obviously if you do it without Shader Patch installed your game will crash and you should backup the regular "myg1.lvl" before hand as well.
