Capturing the drama and epic conflict of Star Wars, Battlefront II brings the fight online. Attention to detail and scale make this game a joy to behold, with 16 incredible new battlefronts such as Utapau, Mustafar and the space above Coruscant, as well as the Death Star interior and Tantive IV, Princess Leia's blockade runner seen at the beginning of the original Star Wars.
Stock Mygeeto map updated to use Shader Patch's Custom Materials and Effects System. Requires Shader Patch for Materials and Effects to show up, otherwise looks like stock Mygeeto!
This here is a map intended to serve as a reference for Shader Patch’s Materials and Effects systems. Because this demonstrates the ability to create a mod that uses the above systems and have it still work it doesn’t require Shader Patch to be installed for it to work but, if it isn’t the you obviously won’t get the custom materials or effects.
The entire map has been converted to use custom materials and every effect Shader Patch currently offers to modders is active. Bloom, Film Grain, Soft Shadows, the works. I've tried to give the map some sense of art direction but obviously I don't claim it to be better than the stock map (and it isn't meant to be!), this is just to act as a reference for interested modders. I'll try to update it whenever I add something new of interest to SP.
Since every prop making up the map has been updated to use Shader Patch's PBR materials. This required creating a fair number of emissive, roughness and normalmaps. Now I didn't just batch process the textures through a tool to make them, I did make a fair few height maps and such by hand but I also didn't spend a lot of time making sure everything was just right either, so they're definitely not ideal but they do serve their purpose of showing off Shader Patch's custom materials.
So long as you’re using it in a mod that integrates Shader Patch you can use anything you like from the source files without crediting me. Otherwise you can still use them but I’d ask that you give credit back to me.
