The decision to finish the game earlier was made due to the project taking too long to finish. This is the second game I've actually finished in my entire life, out of several dozens of games I've created in the past (or at least started).
There are two worlds, two playable characters, several types of enemies, two superior items to be found, two skills for each character, and ultimately two bosses (one at the end of each world).
Everything is finalized, and I'm currently testing to see that everything works and that the game is playable and beatable.
