The aim of this game is to rotate pieces of a shuffled puzzle, to reveal a Nightmare. Each level is more challenging than the previous one, with more parts of the puzzle shuffled, and introducing new behavior.
I've started working on a new programming language (called `avdl`)to make video game development easier. It reached a point where I could start working on a new project, so I decided to create something new to test the language's limits.
It all started with a small numbers game, with simple graphics, that focuses on solving a puzzle. As I was working on it, I made changes where my language wasn't as strong, and the end result is "Shuffled Nightmares".
The main purpose of this project was to prove that my language can draw graphics, textures, play audio, handle input and compile for Linux and Windows. It has been successful in that.
- New puzzle mechanism
- 12 Levels
- Random mode, with new challenging patterns to solve

Video game programming enthusiast. Have started working on my own video game programming language called `avdl`. I've recently published my first game made with it, called "Shuffled Nightmares", and working on more games while improving the language itself. I've been making video games since around 2011, experimenting with different methods, libraries, 2D and 3D.
