RuneScape is a fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It is a graphical browser game, operated by Jagex Ltd., implemented on the client-side in Java and incorporating 3D rendering. The game has approximately 104 million active accounts, and is recognised by the Guinness World Records as the world's most popular free MMORPG.
RuneScape takes place in the game world of Gielinor, a fantasy realm divided into several different kingdoms, regions, and cities. Players can travel throughout Gielinor on foot, by using magical teleportation spells and devices, or by using mechanical means of transportation. Each region offers different types of monsters, resources, and quests to challenge players. The game's fictional universe has also been explored through a tie-in video game, Armies of Gielinor, and a novel, Betrayal at Falador.

the main reason i stopped playing was because they didnt do nothing about botter's, so annoying
Oh by the way, they brought back many of the stuff removed. IDK why everyone hates this game, it's much much better than WoW or any other ones IMO.

The changes and balances ruined the game, like the trade limits n such. It made it a singleplayer game where you see what other people do.
Played for about 6-7 years, it was fun back then, admittedly... but then it sort of became a chore, and got boring :( Shame, some of the community is nice.
playd this alot before, have to admit, they have done many changes and the only game i know that is same style as ultima online was, a really fun game if u got nothing else to do. and this is also the most successful java mmorpg game
