An online RPG with deep, tactical combat, adding a significant element of player skill. Choose from three heroic classes, dozens of elite units, skills, and gear.
A trailer for Riftforge has been in the works for a while.
It highlights the RPG aspects (archetypes and classes) and the tactical combat (campaigns, missions, enemy types).
So without further ado, here it is:
You can now purchase extra mission packs with real money. A single mission costs between 6 and 7 cents with these two amazing deals.
Riftforge is now LIVE and after a massive update, everything is running smoothly. Check it out!
As the final part of Riftforge's playtest, all archetypes and classes are unlocked.

Its pretty fun, but for some reason it was lagging quite a bit.
The game looked quite interesting when i saw the screenshots, but now that Iv'e read it's online...well.. I'm not really interested in it. Most online games like this have bad story and lame boring missions, and most of them get pay to win sooner or later, especially small games like this because there is no other way for them to generate money. Now i haven't tried this so i can't blame you for any of those things, but i think you should should have made it single player game, would attract more attention.
Looks nice, I'd probably go for the Skeleton Knight.
Looks like the merchant of venice!

@Nyrthos We've added a tutorial, doubled the unit roster and this month we're adding loot to the PvE battles. Check it out!
Actually, it's not like Westnoth because it's very tactical, as opposed to strategic.
Hey guys! I just tried the game for a few minutes. I pretty much rushed throught it (as most people will probably do on the oversaturated market of today though) and so probably some stuff that I looked for is there yet somehow evaded me :), and this is what I have to say:
- first of all, looks definitely great! 2D games FTW! :)
- no animation.. ?
- I think the game could definitely use some kind of tutorial (maybe its there and I didnt find it as I rushed through it)
- as I play on a laptop with a 1280x800 screen, I could definitely use the possibility to "unzoom", as I have to constantly scroll with the minimap
- the map scrolling.. would be great to be able to drag the map with your mouse (like Rclick plus drag) instead of using the minimap
Cant wait to play some more when I get back from work!
A lot like the wesnoth...
Looks promising. Tracking.
