This is my first Single Player level. The main emphasis of the level is
close quarters combat and the use of Geo-mods to gain advantage over the
enemy. HUD messages from your squad is a constant throughout the level as
you progress, which is to say you're not alone. Your fellow miners will
give support whenever possible.
The story is that you (player not assumed to be Parker, yet no doubt looks
like him) and your small squad of miners are forced to flee indoors to avoid
a heavy firefight that broke out. Not knowing where you are exactly, you are
to navigate your way through the facility and find a safe exit in which to
lead your remaining group of miners to relative safety. Richards, your reliable
friend, will often send you messages over the radio when something needing your
attention comes up, or just to make a joke. He's also quite capable of holding
his ground in battle as well.

Place the vpp file titled 'SP-Taking_fire' into your single player folder. For
the vpp titled 'takingfiremod'create a new folder and give it the name
takingfire. Place the mod vpp into the newly created folder, followed by
placing that folder into your mods folder within your Red Faction directory.
It's important that both vpp files work when playing this SP map.
To run this map and mod: Start the Red Faction launcher and press 'Setup', then
select the 'misc' tab. Either type or past this as the command line:
-level SP-Taking_fire -mod takingfire
Then press OK and start the game as usual.
Although the RFLauncher program is a far quicker way of doing the same thing.

--Hints--
*Pressing the use button in the direction of certain storage crates and lockers will give you
access to health and suit repair that aren't otherwise visable.
*Use explosives to create flanks around enemies who have advantages such as height or bottlenecks
in which to deny you ground with.
*Watch your back in there. Riot guards, in particular, relish the chance of ambushing you in close
quarters combat.

--Version Notes--
No changes made.
One of the best SP maps to ever be released for Red Faction, a shame this never got a sequel, the creator had some serious leveling designing chops!
