whats the poly/tris count on this it looks a little high quake might not be able to handle it. and some advice if your going to model i would suggest using blender 2.49b its really easy to use and you can look up tutorials on youtube

about sketch-up, if u use a low amount of vertices to make a model, it will still be about 1000 polys when u export it to blender

Blender is definitely better software for modeling objects like weapons. Model conversion from Sketchup is a mess.

use 2.49b like i said i looked at the newer versions and their messed so i stayed with the old one cuz its noob friendly and i know a lot of hotkeys for it which help me while i model.
