This is a game where you must reach the goal on the other side of your screen and to do this, you must tap and jump. Too easy? Let us add some obstacles to the mix. Not enough? Maybe we need something more, something that defines one player from another. That is what this game is all about: Tap rapidly and attack the obstacles - destroy them, drag them away from your path, immobilize them by locking them in a leash, push your way through an endless amount of colorful levels.

Who knew it could be this hard to move from one side of the screen to the other?

The amount of work done is decreased day by day, not because the game is nearing completion but because of a human habit to grow tired through repetition. I know at least for me if I don't at the very least go outside; it doesn't even have to be far, just far enough that it fools me into thinking there was something I needed to do over here, then it is difficult to keep working hour upon hour. Sometimes, though, what you really need is to simply sleep.

But enough about that: there has been some progress that might peak your interest in this game.

New, updated graphics (which, mind you, is still not a final design), a total of five new obstacles in various colors and behavior. You can (finally) pause the game. Spikes will appear at the top of the screen for an extra challenge - appearance is currently set for every 2nd level, but this is simply for testing purposes. You can probably all agree to the annoyance of trying to test something that is pure RNG..

Also new in this update is the appearance of coins. What these do is simply increase your score by +10 every time you pick one up. There will be an article explaining the importance of your score later on in the year as the feature is added.

All in all, there has been a lot of work done these past couple of days (those days when work was being done at the very least). And there will be more to come. For those of you who prefer a video over mere images: I apologize but as is the current state of the game, a video would not be a good idea. At the moment there are only 3 randomly determined obstacles every level start, then a pink obstacle spawns every third second. What I am trying to say is that every level is a complete mess. The level generator has not been written yet, but it is a high priority now that pretty much the game logic is done.
