We launched Proxarium in March. After recently updating the game with a bunch of improvements, we've worked up the courage to show you what we have.
At the moment we have :
- 3 types of machines: tank chassis, trike, engineering chassis (the last one will be soon)
- 19 types of weapon: shells, explosives, conventional and electro-magnetic mines, machine gun rounds, grenades, repair kits, acceleration and so on;
- 4 types of turrets: 3 combat and 1 engineering;
- 2 gameplay modes (DM and CTF) and 8 maps, which are switched from one to another;
- for novices: the practice ground with 3 maps;
- cliffs, hills and gorges (you can find shelter in the trenches from explosions or attack the enemy from the hills);
- Fog Of War, which provides a realistic visibility of area.
Each machine has its own strengths. For example, a trike is fast, maneuverable and capable to cause critical damage to a tank if attacking laterally or from backside. The tank is slower, but stronger and can rotate the turret.
The game is still being developed and only has 2 gameplay modes and 8 maps. Even so, there is already lots of fun there. We have our first fans and would like to know your thoughts.
