Fast paced action game with large amounts of enemies and one of the most cliché scenario ever.
Many of the elements that should have been great for this kind of game are mediocre. The sandbox side of the game is spoiled by how soulless the city feels and how way too easy and repetitive most of the side missions are (while out of nowhere some of them are very hard). The fast pacing is spoiled by the unnerving controls/movements (double taps all the time, direction of movement following the mouse more than the movements keys - especially with the tank, very random targeting...). The variety of body weapons is spoiled by how useless many of them are and how clearly superior to all the other ones the blade is. Even the checkpoint system is ruined by not saving your character health and having you restart with your health bar half empty every time.
I got attracted by the body mutations (with, I supposed, an RPG feel) and stealth elements, but they ended up being very secondary.
Slash using blade-like-mutated hand, shoot those rocket or hijack those tank, use everything you got to get rid of those annoying army soldiers. Badass game with badass storyline, also with badass character.
10/10, because it is too badass to describe Alex Mercer is
